About CJ

At the urging of my husband, I began studying Reiki when a stressful situation became too much for me to cope with. Usui Reiki Master/Teacher/Master of Masters, Beef Mazzola, showed me how to channel the universal energy to calm my spirit. Under Master Beef's guidance, I became a Reiki Master.

By trade, I am a lettering artist. Combining art and Reiki by keeping art journals, helped me let go of negative feelings. The journals also act as a road map of my journey. My goal is to show others how to use art and Reiki to bring peace of spirit, body, and mind.

For the past ten years, I've been teaching art classes to adults and children at the Worcester Art Museum. I also teach classes for community enrichment programs.

Some of my work includes a wedding proposal written on sand dollars, coats of arms, tattoo designs, and the history and roll call of the Worcester Police Vice Squad. I've been juried into the Graceful Envelope Contest three times. My entry for the year 2000 is part of the National Postal Museum at the Smithsonian Institution's permanent collection. I have exhibited my work in art shows across New England.

I live in a little, blue dollhouse with my husband, two daughters, and a black cat named Ink. In my spare time, I enjoy blogging and watching old movies especially Westerns. My favorite color is not pink. When I grow up, I want to be a cowboy.
